Try It Tuesday: Trader Joe's Veggie Burger

Well, we decided to pick up these Trader Joe's Veggies Burgers over the weekend, and I'm glad that we did. When I ate one for lunch today, I was very pleased with the way it tasted. Certainly one of the better veggie burgers I 've had.

The ingredients are freekeh wheat, carrots, onion, celery, liquid eggs, citric acid, bread crumbs, sugar, yeast, soybean oil, parsley, salt, garlic, coriander, cumin, black pepper.

One burger has 11 grams of fat, only 2 grams of sugar, 5 grams of protein, and 50% of the daily allowance of vitamin A.

Overall, I like them and I would buy them again.

Have you tried these? What do you think of them? Why not leave a comment below? :)

Until next time.... God bless!

Well these sound good. I've never tried them but have heard others say they are good. Do you happen to know if they make a vegan version? Thanks for sharing your review.

The only other veggie burgers that I know of that Trader Joe's currently makes are the Trader Joe's Vegetable Masala Burgers. They are vegan and very tasty as well. :) You can read my review on them here: http://www.yummyvegetariandelights.com/2010/04/when-i-first-became-vegetarian-i-wasnt.html
