Share this post:

Today for a late dinner I had some leftover Chinese style vegetables and Jasmine rice. I am planning to post the recipe this Foodie Friday. This dish is very tasty and nutritious. And that is what was in my bowl today... :)

Asian Style Veggies with Squiggly Noodles Recipe

This is one of my favorite dishes to eat. It is super nutritious, super filling, and just plain good. It is vegan, as are most of the recipes here. I shred all of the veggies in the Ninja, with the exception of the broccoli florets. To make this tasty dish, you will need:

  • Squiggly  nooodles, prepared
  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 2 teaspoons orange juice concentrate (unsweetened)
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 head of cabbage, reg. or nappa
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 red pepper
  • 3 cups of broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  1. Heat your wok to medium high heat.
  2. Add coconut oil.
  3. Once coconut oil is hot, sautee onions for about 10 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, half of the sesame seeds, and ginger.
  5. Add all veggies, except broccoli.
  6. Sprinkle salt on veggies and let cook for another 10 minutes.
  7. Add broccoli & let cook for 5 more minutes.
  8. Add orange juice concentrate.
  9. Sprinkle with the rest of sesame seeds.
  10. Pour sesame oil and soy sauce on noodles and stir well.
  11. Add noodles to veggies and stir well.
  12. Enjoy!
