Try It Tuesday: Review of the Original Sunshine Burger

We picked up a new kind of veggie burger from Whole Foods over the weekend, the Sunshine Burger. It seems to be quite nutritious, and it is vegan. We put our frozens in a cooler with ice, so that is why the box looks like it's been wet. The burgers are in plastic in the box, so they were a okay. :) You can view the ingredients and nutritional information in the picture below.

As far as taste is concerned, I liked it pretty well. It does have a definite sunflower seed taste to it, but I really like sunflower seeds. :) I will probably try more flavors of this brand of burger in the future. Here is a photo of a prepared Sunshine burger, topped with Daiya cheese:
Their ingredients are non GMO, which is a big plus. If you'd like to check them out online, visit them at http://www.SunshineBurger.com.

Until next time.... God bless!

Sunshine Burgers are AWESOME! I enjoy mine with some organic avocado, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and spicy mustard. They are also great as "tacos" and are excellent crumbled on salads and pizzas. My favorite flavors are the Original (Garden Herb) and Southwest. I like that they are Organic, Soy-free, Vegan, and no-GMOs.

Nicely said! I may just try them as a taco filling. What a good idea! :) Thanks for stopping by! :)
